Huawei Maya specs appear on GFX Bench, FCC filing reveals removable back cover
A mysterious Huawei device appeared a few days ago on GFX bench with a Huawei model number: MYA-L03. This device is said to be called the “Huawei Maya”. There is even an FCC filing dated December 28 of last year, which managed to slip under the radar during the Christmas/New Year break. We’ll get to the FCC filing later, but first let’s check out the specs of this unknown device.

The GFX Bench lists the Huawei Maya running Android 6.0, and carries the same model number mentioned above. A MediaTek MT6737T (1.44GHz, 1 processor, 4 cores) powers this device, so we can assume it would be a budget smartphone, even cheaper than the Honor 6X. Paired with the CPU are 2GB of RAM.
The FCC filing reveals that there is a second model with the number MYA-L23 which would be a dualSIM device while the other one is a single SIM. Also in the filing, we saw a 2,920 mAh battery, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth (though the version was not specified). The device will be compatible with LTE bands 2, 4, 5, and 7 on both models.
There is a photo of the back of the device to show where the FCC label would be placed. And based on this photo, we can safely assume the device in question will feature swappable backplates. Much along the lines of the how the original Moto G’s was designed. Upon closer inspection, we can also see an expandable memory slot.
Huawei might be trying to enter the ultra-affordable market in the US, Perhaps we could expect a smartphone like this one to run for $100-$150.
We’ll have to wait to hear more about the Huawei Maya.

Android 8.0 Oreo is official [Updated]
Update: BlackBerry has officially confirmed that the Keyone will be getting the Android Oreo update. There was, however, no word on when the roll out will begin. Original story follows: As expected, Google today decided to finally unveil the moniker of the next iteration of Android. Known simply as "O" for the past few months while a few Developer Previews and public betas went out, it now officially has a full name. It's Android 8.0 Oreo.
So yes, the most rumored name actually turned out to be what Google chose to call its latest sweet treat. It's only the second time in Android's history when there's a commercial partnership involved - for version 4.4 KitKat Google teamed up with Nestle (which owns that brand), and this time around the search giant managed to get Mondelez on board the co-branding train. Android 8.0 Oreo's code will be uploaded by Google engineers to the Android Open Source Project today, while softw…

What makes this more better is that the free data will be automatically renewed monthly within a period of 6 months.
Note that this isn't really a cheat as you don't have to go through a long process or tweak any IMEI to get yours. The data is actually a freebies that goes with the Huawei Ascend Y210 smartphone but you can still activate it irrespective of the smartphone you are using.
How to Activate the MTN Ghana Free 50GB Data >> All you need to do is to text MB to 151. >> After that, you should receive an SMS saying; "Thanks for using your new phone for MTN. You have been rewarded with Data freebies of 50GB each month for 6months. Welcome to the new world."
